Ask Dr. Debt is a consumer resource with straightforward answers to frequent questions regarding credit and the collection process.


Credit Karma is an organization that offers consumers free access to their credit reports in addition to monitoring and improvement tools.

American Financial Services Association Education Foundation (AFSAEF)

AFSAEF is a non-profit organization established to heighten consumers’ awareness of personal finance responsibility. Their mission is to help consumers realize the benefits of responsible money management, understand the credit process and seek help if credit problems occur., an online personal finance software service from Intuit, and provides more than 3 million users a fresh, easy and intelligent way to manage their money.

Receivables Management Association

Receivables Management Association is an industry trade group offering consumers advice and resources on the successful resolution of consumer credit accounts.
